Quick Tips Before Purchasing an Outdoor Table

Quick Tips Before Purchasing an Outdoor Table

Nothing brings family and friends closer than gatherings at a unique and spacious outdoor table.

  • Determine the outdoor space available: A good rule of thumb is to leave a minimum of 3 feet of clearance around the table for chairs and traffic. For example, if you have a 16’ x 12’ space, the maximum recommended size for a table would be 10’x 6’.
  • Material and durability of the table: When shopping for a table and deciding what material to use always keep in mind the climate. Some questions you should ask yourself are: Is it an oceanfront property? Is it windy? Will the table be directly exposed to elements? I’m I willing to buy a new one every summer? Some tables are more expensive that others, but you will end up saving money by not having to purchase one every summer.
  • Special and Unique: It is known that we spend and enjoy time outside. We love a great cookout with friends and family. Deciding the amount of value you want to add to that outdoor experience is very important. Having unique pieces of furniture makes you feel good. Pieces that you will not find anywhere.
